This gorgeous label, Little Emerald from Italy, produces Luxury Lace Creations based on lace patterns from the Renaissance period. This very unique label only produces one collection a year and is extremely intricate in their handiwork. Of course, this is the high end of the luxury kids’ market, so not for everyone!
Little Emerald has two basic silhouettes: the classic princess ball dress look or a simple shift like cut, both with stunning lace bodices or overall lace bodies.
There’s an interesting history of Renaissance lace on the Little Emerald site, which highlights the inspiration of this label and how they have revived the traditional methods of lace making. And also how lace has been used for royalty. And that’s where your little princess comes in – the modern princess in all little girls.

Happy Memorial Day! I have some Easy, Last Minute Memorial Day Desserts for you.
I know I’ve been a bit absent for the last few weeks but we have big news. We moved out of our apartment that we had been in for years into a much bigger space. I’m so excited to be able to decorate the girls’ room from scratch and actually our whole apartment. And the girls are over the moon at all the space and the facilities here, like the pool! The possibilities are endless with decor and needless to say, you will be getting more posts on decor like this and this in the near future.

And because we have been so consumed with our new home, I am of course, not so prepared for Memorial Day, (which is a big deal as you know, if you are in the States. If you are not in the US, it is a day to remember all of the military who lost their lives fighting for their country.) I’m writing this post while relaxing on the edge of our new pool!
So, I found these easy, last minute Memorial Day desserts. If you don’t have the ingredients, a quick trip to the shop will make it all happen. I hope you have a lovely day. Much love, Jeanne xoxo

Mini-Maven came out with their latest issue – The Escape Issue. And like the first issue, it’s amazing. The photography is unparalleled and the labels and stories are interesting and of the moment. I like what Kymberly is doing with this publication. And also love the names of the scenarios. We have titles like “Fairytale Muse”, “Attention Please”, “The Sweet Escape” and the like.
If you are interested in getting the full picture, you can order this issue right here!
Just found an amazing site that shares your parties and have been feasting my eyes on all sorts of lovely themed parties like this breathtaking Enchanted Forest Birthday Party. The backdrop is amazing the way is been painted to look like a forest and really pulls this all together. And the details with the butterflies, branches, toadstools and details are charming. The detailed cupcakes that have a forest scene all of their own are works of art.
Take a look at Catch My Party to see so many other lovely themes. There are free printables, recipes, day’s. You can also add your wonderful party and well, join in the party! Definitely a great resource when you are pondering what to do for you little darling’s big day!
We have fashion and art from Rylee and Cru, a children’s line founded by illustrator Kelli Murray and inspired by her own little kids. Rylee and Cru merges art and imagination, offering unique and artistic clothing. She concentrates on quality basics that are hand dyed, which gives them a vintage feel.
The clothes are mainly for very young kids and babies and I have to say, that these are some of the cutest rompers ever with a light circus theme going on.
Kelli also sells prints of her lovely kid-friendly illustrations which would go well in the rooms of children wearing these clothes. Definitely, a whole approach to fashion and style.
Well, if you’ve been reading the blog for even a short time, you will know that I can never resist a good rag doll (here, here, here and here…just to remind you of a few) and have even been known to make my own like here! So, these Humbletoys Rag Dolls really caught my eye. Made in Canada by hand, you can order custom made. I love the minimalism with these dolls as far as the faces go. Mainly just eyes and minimal nose and mouth. So cute. Go to her Etsy shop to see what is on offer and to put in a special order of your own!
We are of course, coloring our eggs tomorrow and we are going to experiment with trying these different methods of Easter Egg coloring. Well, maybe not every single one, but a couple at least. Last year, we made these Ukrainian inspired eggs below which I thought came out quite nicely. We are always searching for new and creative ways to color our eggs, so here are a few for you!
If you know of a method that you like using, please do share them on our Bellissima Kids Facebook page!
This is so wonderful. I found these Unique Vintage Camper Bird House Scale model Playsets on Etsy! The finished camper should actually be a great home for a small bird family.
Spring time is a perfect time for crafts like this. The retro design is brought to us by the people at 1Man1Garage in Nashville. They took ideas from old photographs from a trailer they had to create this charming birdhouse kit. The construction of the birdhouse is fairly simple, but the details leave endless possibilities for customizing this to suit you.
I love that you can paint it and decorate it for your own bird family. And you can get a few and paint them different colors. The kit includes over 40 parts to build the miniature camper with awnings on 3 sides, plus flowers for the 2 window boxes, curtains, a spare tire, leveling jack, a Welcome mat, 2 flamingos, even a classic Weber style grill we all had as a kid. Most of the details are individual pieces to make painting a breeze.
The finished size is roughly: 9 inches long, 6 inches wide (with awnings), and almost 5 inches tall. This is perfect for kids to make. You can purchase it right here.
