Imitating all the sculptures in the American Wing.
Here’s Oona modeling her new outfit from Jumina – the Norwegian Fairytale! As soon as she put on this Josefine pure wool jacket, organic fair-trade reversible Balloon Pants and matching little Pixie hat, she was possessed by the Spirit of Play. I already blogged about their fabulous Summer 2012 season and I just can’t get enough of their original and unique style. As for Oona, she wants to wear this outfit every day. And as a nod to the little French film I love called Amelie, where the gnome has its photo taken everywhere, I thought I would photograph my little gnome all over the Met…and beyond. These are all available on the Jumina website with all their other delightful pieces.
Now a ferocious bear!
The gnome at the Temple of Dendur.
After begging me to put her on the horses, she settled for the next best thing.
In front of one of her favorite Pollock paintings.. I think she mixed this up with Munch’s, The Scream.
Oh, look what Alice found! This is Oona’s special spot in Central Park.
All cozied up in her buddy’s lap.
And now for some little sister love in Central Park…right after a woman stopped and said that Oona’s outfit was the cutest thing she had seen all day!
This is adorable! It’s a lot of fun to bring children to museums.
love it!
It’s such a striking label; really stands out. I love the photos – the first one is my favourite.
I agree. We love this label.
