Moschino was originally created in 1983 by the late Franco Moschino, and is well known for its “classico con twist”, (classical with a twist) style. The current head of design, Rossella Jardini, has successfully taken Franco’s humor and style and kept it relevant. And the Moschino Kids, Spring-Summer 2014 is no exception. The primary colors teamed with crisp white, black and neutral summer tans are what I think of when I think of Italian fashion done well. And the motifs are fun and funky and yes, humorous. I’m not sure I like this return to the 80’s style of huge logos! (see the t-shirt second photo from the bottom).
