Susie and Rose are a mother/daughter team who offer beautiful limited edition dresses and accessories for girls, and also bespoke commissions for parents who are looking for something extra special. My fave is this Raspberry Ripple Party dress above.

And the super cool thing about this label is that customers can see the handmade process of their dress through the Susie & Rose blog!

And they have a very interesting story:

Susie, Rose’s mom, has worked as a professional dressmaker for over 50 years. And Rose has always had a keen interest for design and fashion, designing her own clothes from a young age.

Susie began her career in theatrical dressmaking in London and made clothes for people like David Bowie, Freddie Mercury and TV programs such as Upstairs Downstairs. Then she worked in high fashion for years, in particular for Jasper Conran. Susie then went back to theatrical projects such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Casino Royale. And now she works for the BBC for productions such as Tess of the D’Urbervilles, The Mighty Boosh, Call the Midwife and Little Britain.
